Venetia Dale utilizes techniques and processes of metalsmithing and object making to explore themes of utility and exchange within a global economy. Patterns, materials and forms sourced from mundane objects are fragmented, abstracted and re-imagined to reflect on a visual landscape familiar to and distant from the vernacular of the everyday.
