Lindsay Packer is a visual ventriloquist. Primitive projectors made of simple lights and lenses displace and reposition images in her work. Her site-specific, kinetic installations coax light, movement and film-like projections from arrangements of ordinary materials, calling attention to the multiplicity of storylines and histories inherent in every silent, still object around us.
