Exhibitions & Events
Our artist programs and public engagement series demonstrate the role artists and curators play in our communities by connecting audiences to creative practices, ideas, art forms, and each other. Through exhibitions, performances, Muse Fuse talks, screenings, and publications, NURTUREart provides direct support to artists and curators and aims to inspire the public to think critically about the world around them and connect to their creative and local communities.

Melissa Sclafani: Crowd Control
October 20 — November 18, 2018
Crowd Control, a solo exhibition by Melissa Sclafani, is an immersive installation with sculpture and light projection. Created in response to the ongoing detention of migrant children at the United States-Mexico border, Sclafani’s installation draws attention to the boundaries and devices that divide us.
