NURTUREart presented two special exhibitions coinciding with this year’s Bushwick Open Studios (BOS).

The first of these special exhibitions, There are no accents on my qwerty keyboard, by artist Antoine Lefebvre, took place at the 56 Bogart St. Gallery and opened on Friday, May 31 through Sunday, June 2. French-born and Brooklyn-based, Lefebvre examined how our relationship to places has been deeply transformed by the advent of globalization and digital technologies. With this new show: There are no accents on my qwerty keyboard, NURTUREart presented a group of 4 new works using cnc cut polystyrene letters, computer generated animations, power balls, bricks, aluminum tubing and a bindle stick. Lefebvre’s project was selected from our 2012 open calls.
